(via companion-cube-76)Heavenly Father knows you. He knows what you need. Even without asking, He knows. And He’ll bless you. Be faithful. Do your part. If you do your part, there is nothing He can do but bless you.

(via thebridgechicago)Never take your proximity to the temple for granted.
How many of you live in a town that has a temple? In a state that has a temple?
How many of you have been to the temple within the last half a year? The last month? The last week?
It hurts that I’m so far from the temple. It really hurts. As I believe I mentioned recently, I’ve had my temple recommend for over a year now and I’ve been to the temple once. Once. I don’t have a car and the branch I just left never ever had temple trips, especially for those without their endowments (which was about half of the branch). I’ve gone through a lot in the last year and a common bit of advice in situations like mine is to go to the temple. But it was never an option. Going to the temple is all I’ve wanted for months and no one with the ability to make that happen would help me. I would have done anything to spend six hours in the car just to sit on the temple grounds, much less to have the chance to go inside and do anything useful.
And then I think about the stories we hear at General Conference about the families who work and save for years just to get to go to the temple once in their whole lives. And then I feel selfish. I feel like I’m the privileged one taking things for granted.
The temple is one of the greatest blessings we will receive in this life. I beseech you, do everything in your power to remain worthy, and don’t pass up any opportunity to go to the temple. Don’t you dare take it for granted.
